πŸŒ…πŸ•Š️✨ The Last Farewell

 Giving up the Ghost

Sleep now, beloved, the veil grows thin,

The stars lean close, the hush begins.

Your breath, a tide that ebbs to grace,

The angels gather, soft in place.

The hands you held, the hearts you knew,

Will carry light and love from you.

No pain shall pass beyond this shore,

Only peace, and evermore.

The river calls with silver song,

Its waters deep, its pull so strong.

Step gently in, the current knows—

It bears you where the spirit goes.

The sky will open, soft and wide,

With golden wings on either side.

And all you were, and all you gave,

Will bloom in light beyond the grave.

So rest, dear soul, your work is done,

The night is kind, the dawn has come.

We’ll meet again, where time is none—

In heaven’s hush, in love’s bright sun.
