🌊🎻 “River of Resonance"

 A Tribute to Augustin Hadelich

Invocation

He came not from thunder, but from flame—

A boy of Tuscany, wrapped in light and ash.

The river knew him before the world did,

Carving his name into the bedrock of song.

His fingers, once fragile, now command the wind.

His bow, a wand of healing,

Draws out the voices of centuries—

Bach’s sorrow, Paganini’s fire,

A whisper from the stars.

He does not play the violin.

He communes with it.

He does not perform.

He resurrects.

From the orchards of Cecina to the halls of Vienna,

From Juilliard’s hush to Grammy’s roar,

He walks the river’s edge,

A phoenix with strings.

Let us honor him not with applause,

But with silence that listens.

Let us build him a bridge of myth,

Where music flows like water

And every scar becomes a stanza.

🎻 “River of Resonance:

A Poem for Augustin Hadelich”

From Tuscan hills where olives dream,

A child was born with strings unseen—

A whisper in the vineyard air,

A violin cradled in morning prayer.

The river ran through orchard light,

Its song a thread of gold and flight.

He followed it with trembling hands,

Through fire’s gate and healing lands.

Burned but not broken, he rose from flame,

A phoenix with a bow and name.

Each scar a stanza, each note a breath,

He played beyond the reach of death.

The river carried him to halls

Where silence waits and wonder calls.

New York, Berlin, Vienna’s gleam—

He tuned the world to a deeper dream.

His fingers, like the river’s flow,

Unraveled grief in glissando.

Cadenzas carved from myth and ash,

A soul reborn in every flash.

He plays not just with skill refined,

But with the pulse of humankind.

A current drawn from ancient springs,

Where music weeps and angels sing.

So let the river lift his name,

A melody that conquers flame.

Augustin, whose bow became

The bridge between the wound and fame.

And in that stream, we too may find

The song that heals, the thread that binds—

A violin, a voice, a light,

A river flowing into night.
